This is a simply beautiful 18ct gold, 5 stone diamond ring with stunning ivy leaf detail to the shoulders. It is fully hallmarked for 18ct Gold and Chester. Unfortunately the date mark has been rubbed beyond recognition, but given the style of this ring, i would date it to the late 1880s.

Comprising 5 lively and bright old mine cut diamonds, this ring is durable and robust, a perfect ring for everyday wear. The presence of ivy leaves, symbolising the sentiment, 'cling to thee' suggest tha this was originally designed as an engagement ring.

This antique ring is currently a UK size O, which is USA Size 7, and it has a solid shank which could be resized up or down within reason. The face of the ring measures 18mm x 6mm and it weighs 3.5g.
