This large squash blossom necklace features a total of twenty stunning natural, high dome Persian turquoise stones in sterling silver settings and strung on all hand made sterling beads. Though unmarked, it has been identified as being the work of Navajo artist Jimmy Long by his nephew, Audie Yazzie. Weighs 332 grams in total weight.

The Persian mines, primarily Neyshabur and Kerman, are some of the oldest mines ever worked, with evidence of operations dating back to 6000 BC. Persian clear blue turquoise was the most sought after turquoise for centuries, setting the standard for the ideal turquoise of the time.
